Throne of Lies - Space Research, VCU 2025

Pine, Water-Based Stain, Wood glue, Nails and Wax, 18 x 18 x 34.5 inches

In this project, I made my own chair! This chair subtly plays with typography and spells out the word, “LIES.” So, whoever sits in the chair is literally sitting in a throne of lies. I chose to make the chair a tie-dye, water color mix of blue and purple. It creates a rich deep, mysterious energy.
